Two men from Nova Scotia's South Shore are facing charges related to a break and enter Saturday night.
Queens District RCMP was called to a break and enter at a home on Old Chelsea Road in Pleasant River around 8 p.m.
Police say officers learned that a man entered the home with a knife and threatened the homeowner who confronted him.
The homeowner left the home and called RCMP. Police say the suspect exited the home and left the scene in an SUV that was driven by another man.
About 45 minutes later, Lunenburg District RCMP found the SUV in Hebbville and conducted a traffic stop. Police say the driver, who was the only person in the vehicle at that time, was safely arrested.
The RCMP say the man believed to have entered the home was found walking along Hwy. 208 near Crouse Road. Police say he was safely arrested around 9:30 p.m. by Queens District RCMP.
The stolen property was recovered. Police say there were no injuries during the incident.
