Brunei's international exhibition fare returns to attract foreign visitors
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Xinhua): Brunei's annual Mid-Year Conference and Exhibition (Brunei MYCE) 2025, which started on May 19, will run through July 16, the Tourism Development Department has announced.
Brunei MYCE 2025 will feature a wide range of conferences, seminars, workshops, and exhibitions to promote knowledge sharing and exchange of ideas.
The popular event also indulges in dissemination of new findings in various fields among academics, entrepreneurs, lecturers, students, and the public, both locally and internationally.
The department stated that with the participation of foreign experts, speakers, and delegates, the event contributes towards increased international tourist arrivals, subsequently increasing Brunei's gross domestic product (GDP), particularly in sectors such as transport, aviation, food services, and related industries.
Now in its fifth year, the 2025 edition places greater emphasis on sustainable event practices, encouraging organizers to adopt eco-friendly measures, reduce waste, and utilize digital tools to manage events more efficiently and responsibly. - Xinhua
