GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — State transportation officials have closed a bridge in Greenville County. Related video: Bridge over North Saluda River in Greenville Co. closed until further notice: SCDOT According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation, the bridge on Pleasant Hill Road that runs over the Middle Tyger River was closed after a car crash. Details regarding the crash are unclear. Crews are still working to assess the damage and said a timeline for repairs will be released soon. MORE ROAD WORK: SC 290 bridge over I-85 closure rescheduled due to weather Detour Routes Eastbound Traffic Commuters traveling east on Pleasant Hill Road, or S-23-114 should take Lister Road, or L-1928 to Highway 14, or SC-14, then turn right onto Highway 14 and proceed to Highway 414, or SC-414 westbound. Highway 414 will take drivers back to Pleasant Hill Road on the right. Westbound Traffic Drivers traveling west on Pleasant Hill Road, or S-23-114 will take Highway 414, or SC-414 east to Highway 14, or SC-14, turn left onto Highway 14, or SC-14 and continue to the intersection of Lister Road, or L-1928 and then turn left onto and proceed to Pleasant Hill Road.
