61-year-old in Wisconsin arrested on felony operating while intoxicated after crashing into construction sign
MIDDLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – A 61-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested on a fourth offense of operating while intoxicated after crashing into a road construction sign. The Middleton Police Department reported that around 6:52 a.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to a crash incident near Century Avenue and Highland Way. Two in Wisconsin charged in FBI operation against child sexual abuse, over 100 children rescued & 200 suspects arrested nationwide Officers on the scene found the vehicle had crashed into a road construction sign and spoke with the driver, identified as 61-year-old James O'Loughlin of Madison. O'Loughlin reportedly displayed signs of impairment, and officers detected intoxicants on his breath; he was subsequently arrested for his fourth OWI offense. Traffic stop for high beams leads to Wisconsin man's 11th OWI arrest
MIDDLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – A Wisconsin man was arrested for his 11th OWI offense after he was pulled over for allegedly failing to dim his high beam headlights when he drove past an officer. According to a release from the Middleton Police Department, around 1:25 a.m. on April 2, an officer was driving on University Avenue when an oncoming car allegedly failed to dim its high beams, leading to a traffic stop in the 7700 block of Elmwood Avenue in Middleton. Wisconsin woman with four active warrants arrested for OWI after police pursuit, fentanyl recovered The officer reportedly noticed an odor of intoxicants on the driver, 63-year-old Timothy L. Burkhalter of Mazomanie. It was also noted that Burkhalter's eyes were reportedly 'glossy' and that he admitted to drinking before driving. After field sobriety tests, Burkhalter was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI), his tentative 11th OWI charge. His blood alcohol level was reportedly 0.11. Suspect in Wisconsin flees on foot after crashing vehicle during police pursuit Due to Burkhalter's prior offenses, he had a 0.02 prohibited alcohol concentration restriction. Wisconsin officers find vehicle off roadway, driver arrested for 4th OWI
MIDDLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – After officers responded to a crash in southern Wisconsin, they found a vehicle off the road and arrested the driver on her fourth OWI offense. Around 3:10 p.m. on March 19, officers with the Middleton Police Department responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of CTH Q and Bishops Bay Parkway. When officers arrived they found a vehicle that had gone off the roadway and made contact with the alleged driver, 39-year-old Megan Bedrosian of Madison. Madison Water Utility truck stolen in Wisconsin, truck's GPS leads officers to suspect Authorities reported noticing a strong odor of intoxicants on Bedrosian's breath, noting other alleged behaviors that indicated impairment; including glossy eyes, and being unsteady on her feet. Following field sobriety testing, Bedrosian was arrested for 4th Offense Operating a Motor Vehicle while intoxicated (OWI).
