Dad speaks out after teen fatally shot in NYC: ‘He was a good boy'

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A teenager fatally shot after getting off a bus in Queens Wednesday was 'a good boy,' his father said. Sincere Jazmin, 16, exited a Q83 bus on Liberty Avenue around 2:20 p.m. and was ambushed by a masked gunman who shot the teen in the chest near Detective Keith L. Williams Park, police said. More Local News In an emotional Facebook live video, his father said it's a pain he doesn't wish on any parent. 'My son was only 16 years old,' said Miguel Jazmin in a Facebook live video. 'He was a good boy. … My son will be always loved, always be missed, forever, forever be in my heart.' Surveillance video shows the teenager after he was shot, walking to the steps of a nearby deli, where he sits down. The teenager then collapses. Sources told PIX11 News the shooting is being investigated as possibly gang-related. Sincere Jazmin is at least the fourth person under 18 years old to be fatally shot this year, according to NYPD data. 'I'm just grateful I got to give my son a hug and kiss before he left out the house,' Miguel Jazmin said in a Facebook post.
