The New York Knicks overcame a 20-point deficit to beat the Boston Celtics 91-90 Wednesday night, fueled by Mikal Bridges' 14 fourth-quarter points, Jalen Brunson's 17 and a game-sealing steal. The PGA Tour mocked their fourth-quarter collapse, posting a clip of Masters Champion Rory McIlroy on X, sitting a few feet from a standard waste basket, perfectly tossing a paper ball into it and celebrating with a fist pump. Advertisement They captioned it, "What the Celtics needed in the 4th quarter last night," trolling the Greens. The team converted just 5-for-24 shots, only shooting 21% in the fourth quarter. The Celtics are down by two in the series. "Two games we're up 20 points somehow end up not with wins is inexcusable," Jaylen Brown said. "Obviously being down two, it sucks." Head coach Joe Mazulla believes that they can tie the series back up again. "They made every play... I thought we generated some good looks and then I thought we had some live-ball turnovers and they took advantage of it, so they made the necessary plays to win," said Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla.
