Authorities identify 22-year-old woman killed in Minnesota rollover crash
Authorities have identified the woman killed in a rollover crash in Cass County on Saturday.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office said Mikayla Butcher, of Bemidji, died at the scene following the crash on Saturday evening.
The driver in the crash, a 23-year-old Walker man, has been arrested and booked into the Cass County Jail for probation violation and probable cause DWI charges, according to jail records.
Authorities suspect speed and alcohol were factors in the crash, which happened around 7 p.m. Saturday on County Road 13 in rural Walker, with police arriving to find a 2007 Dodge Nitro overturned in a ditch.
Butcher's injuries proved fatal at the scene, with two men taken to Bemidji Sanford Hospital and another man was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Park Rapids for treatment.
Police obtained a search warrant for a blood draw from the driver, with the results still pending as of Tuesday.
