ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Residents of the Rockford area looking to have a sub sandwich and promote programs for children have the chance to do both on Wednesday. First Art Walk of 2025 approaching, volunteers needed

WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — The after-hours Art Walk, hosted by downtown Wichita Falls, is about one week away from returning. Marketing Director Jeanette Charos said this year's art walk will have some new additions, such as 'Artist in the Street,' which will be in a blocked-off section between 7th and 8th Street on Indiana Avenue. Wichita Falls Jersey Mike's Day of Giving aids local food bank This will help give artists and vendors a safer and more open area to show off their creativity. Charos said each month will have a different theme as well. 'Blooming the Block' will help kick off the Downtown Wichita Falls Development Planter Project. But Charos said they couldn't do all of this alone and would need all the help they can get. 'With the addition to the pedestrian area, we do need volunteers,' Charos said. 'So, each month, we're going to need 6 to 10 good volunteers that will help us close down the street and kind of maintain that area. So, if you're interested in helping out or even joining the committee, yeah, definitely contact downtown development and let us know.' The first after-hours Art Walk will be next Thursday, April 4, starting at 6 p.m. For more information on signing up for a vendor spot or volunteering, click here. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
