Vernon Davis earns Gridiron Greats Hall of Fame nod for impact on and off the field
Vernon Davis is being celebrated for more than his on-field accomplishments. The class of 2025 Gridiron Greats Hall of Fame recognizes Vernon Davis for his exemplary athletic career and for volunteering on behalf of underprivileged youth.
The Gridiron Greats Hall of Fame is an initiative of the non-profit foundation founded by Green Bay Packers great Jerry Kramer in 2007.
The program assists former NFL players in need after they have retired from football. Vernon Davis called the award a "privilege," stating the mission of the group was to assist former players who had hung up on a physical and emotional level during play.
'It is a privilege to lend my hand to these men who helped build, shape and mold the NFL into what it is today, and an absolute honor to be recognized for those efforts,' Davis said.
