Bayesian wreckage owned by tech tycoon Mike Lynch is lifted from sea floor
The sunken superyacht owned by tech tycoon Mike Lynch has been lifted to the surface by salvage experts
Divers retrieved the body of Mike Lynch OBE, in the same yacht on Thursday, August 22, after the 56-metre-long luxury yacht capsized off Porticello, east of Palermo, as a result of violent winds and rain.

Mr Lynch was born to a Co Tipperary mother who was a nurse and a Co Cork father who was a firefighter.
At first light, work resumed on the salvage operation, with one of Europe's most powerful maritime cranes in use in a bid to haul the 184ft Bayesian from below the surface.
The ship was badly damaged following the wreckage, with the upper decks appearing the most impacted. TMC Marine, those leading the operation, have stated he vessel will be held in an elevated position over the weekend while preparations are put in place. They have been working extensively with Dutch specialists Hebo Maritiemservice to lift the wreckage from the sea floor.
Then on Monday it will be transported to the nearby port of Termini Imerese and handed over to the authorities who are investigating the sinking.
The destruction of the £14m (€16.5m) yacht during torturous weather conditions on Monday, August 19, saw 15 of the 22 passengers rescued by the Italian Coast Guard, with the remaining seven becoming trapped or lost within the wreckage. Diving teams recovered the four bodies of Jonathan and Judy Bloomer and Chris and Neda Morvillo, who were guests on the yacht, on Wednesday.
Renaldo Thomas – the yacht chef – was found dead on Monday near the boat.
Italian media at the time reported that the victims were found on the opposite side of the yacht to their cabins, which suggested they may have been trying to escape the incoming water by reaching the higher ground
