Caroline Doherty's final addition to the Hingham girls' hockey record book is a Division 1 state championship
'I knew that third goal was probably going to be my last goal ever at Hingham,' said Doherty, who plans to play Division 1 hockey at Holy Cross. 'So I had to rep the Hingham jersey, because it's so special.' Advertisement Doherty is the sixth player to score a hat trick in an MIAA girls' hockey championship game. The only player to score more in a title game was former Hingham star Chrissie Bowler (2008 vs. Milton), who held the program points record until Doherty passed it this season. With a determined finish, Kacey Curran carries Bishop Stang girls' hockey to its first postseason victory

'Every single shift, especially in the third period, I got on the bench and I'm like, 'no, I'm not doing another close game in the third period again,' Curran said. 'I just had that drive.
