This past Sunday Night, at the NXT Battleground Premium Live Event, former NXT World Champion Trick Williams created history by becoming the first active NXT Superstar to become the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Williams defeated Joe Hendry in controversial fashion to capture the title. Last night on NXT, Trick Williams celebrated his championship victory. He also claimed that he is going to change the name of TNA Wrestling to TrickNA. Williams also ran down the list of some of the former stars who had held the TNA World Heavyweight Championship before. Such as Kurt Angle, Drew McIntyre, Bully Ray, and AJ Styles, and then claimed that none of them are on his level. Advertisement Right at that moment, the self-proclaimed savior of TNA, Mike Santana, walked out to confront the newly crowned TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Santana called Williams a pretend rapper, a pretend fighter, and a pretend champion. He also claimed to be the one to dethrone Williams. Trick Williams responded by saying that only the champion can call the shots.
