Tempe police arrest man in connection with Casey Moore's shooting that injured 1
A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at Casey Moore's Oyster House in Tempe on May 3.
Tempe police said 29-year-old Dakota Barnes was arrested May 6 and booked into jail on two counts of aggravated assault, a class 3 felony, and one count of unlawful discharge, a class 6 felony.
The arrest came after a man in his 30s was shot in the stomach multiple times in a parking lot near the restaurant just before 3 p.m. on May 3, police said.
The shooting was part of an altercation between two men and one woman, police confirmed.
Police said the man who was shot was in stable condition at the hospital, as of May 6.
Casey Moore's is two blocks west of Mill Avenue and one block south of University Drive at the intersection of Ash Avenue and Ninth Street. The restaurant closed for the night following the shooting.
