The centre-back is just 17, but has already gained valuable first team experience and has caught the eyes of several European clubs, including the Scottish champions. Now it's being suggested that the Hoops have made their first contact with the Serbian giants over a potential deal for the towering teenager. Serbian outlet Meridian Sport claim that an initial offer from Celtic has been turfed out, with Red Star standing firm on their demands. The fee in which they offered has not been disclosed but it's stated the Serbian champions have set an asking price of €10million (£8.4million). It was previously believed Red Star would not entertain any offers for their prized asset. Milosavljevic has made 15 appearances for the club's first team and has yet to lose a single game in the Serbian top flight. He spent the first half of the campaign on loan in the second tier with Graficar Beograd. Paris Saint-Germain and Everton are also said to be considering a move after reportedly sending scouts to watch him in action. Milosavljevic isn't the only player Celtic could battle the French giants for this summer as reports from Japan also state the two clubs are in a three-way battle for Djurgarden left-back Keita Kosugi. Thousands of Celtic fans march to Hampden for Scottish Cup final vs Aberdeen amid heavy police presence The 19-year-old has been attracting interest with his displays in Sweden and in Europe, with PSG, Celtic and Atalanta said to be circling. Meanwhile, PAOK are reportedly in talks to sign Greg Taylor on a free transfer. The Scotland left-back is out of contract this summer and is free to speak to other clubs. And Greek outlet iNPAOK claim the Black and Whites have joined the race for his signature. Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page

Celtic 'target' Serbian sensation Veljko Milosavljevic
The centre-back, 18, broke into the Crvena zvezda first-team this season and impressed during his handful of appearances before injury ruled him out for a number of weeks. And he did enough to attract the attention of both English Premier League side Everton and the Scottish champions, according to Serbian outlet Milosavljevic is seen as one of his nation's hottest young prospects and has shown his big game temperament at a big club in the league, including in derbies against Partizan, which would appeal to Celtic. The 6ft3in stopper was was watched by both interested UK-based clubs towards the end of his season as he continued to impress. Read more: A summer transfer battle could now ensue between the Hoops and the Toffees. Cameron Carter-Vickers is a mainstay in the Celtic defence when fit and has mostly been partnered by Liam Scales or Auston Trusty with Maik Nawrocki also standing in against Rangers and Hearts. Brendan Rodgers will be expected to strengthen across the park in the summer as he looks to defend a potential Treble and progress further in the Champions League. Scottish boss David Moyes will also be hoping to strengthen his Everton side and the backline is one area which could have surgery performed on it. The high esteem in which Milosavljevic is held is displayed by a recent report published by The International Centre for Sports Studies as they looked at the most talented young players in world football. The Celts target was one of eight Serbs included and was ranked in 42nd spot. A Serbia under-19s cap, Milosavljevic is described as a modern centre half - dominant and aggressive physically but one who can also carry the ball out from the back and play forward progressively. After signing a new three-year deal with his club in September 2024, that contract status would mean Celtic would likely have to splash out if they decide to firm up their interest and make a move.
