Huge delays after four-vehicle crash

A four-vehicle crash has caused major delays on Sydney's M4, one of the main citybound routes from the city's western suburbs. Three cars and a truck collided on the M4 eastbound at Minchinbury - between Wallgrove Rd and the M7 offramp - at about 5.50am on Thursday, police say. Paramedics treated one of the car drivers – a 65-year-old woman – at the scene, before she was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition. The other drivers - a 25-year-old man, a 38-year-old man, and the 42-year-old truck driver - were all uninjured in the collision. The indicient is under investigation by officers from the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command. More to come.
