(Video) SHINee's Minho Goes Viral For Stunning Visuals During Recent Triathlon
If there's one thing you should know about SHINee's Minho (샤이니 민호), is that he's one of K-pop's most athletic idols. The 33-year-old recently participated in a triathlon in South Korea, showcasing his athletic prowess and good looks. Over the weekend, the idol participated in the Chungju Tangeum Lake National Triathlon Race in Seoul. As with most triathlon races, Minho had to swim, bike and run over various distances while competing for the fastest overall time. For this specific race, the distances for each sport were 750m for swimming, 40km for biking and 10km for running. According to reports, the idol completed the race in 2 hours and 18 minutes. Since the race was public, fans got to see the idol compete in the triathlon in person. Photos and videos of Minho at the event made their way onto social media, sparking interest amongst netizens. Most of the comments were stunned by the idol's 'unreal' visuals, noting that he looked like he was in a photo shoot for a sports magazine. Some fans even called him a Ken doll because of his toned figure and blond hair. Surprisingly, the triathlon isn't the only sporting event that Minho participated in recently. Last month, the idol challenged himself in the HYROX competition in Taipei. The sporting competition combines 8 kilometres of running and eight functional workout stations, with participants alternating between running and functional exercises. Minho reportedly completed the event with an impressive record of 1 hour and 4 minutes. The SHINee member has also shared his HYROX experience through his personal YouTube channel. Fans have expressed awe at Minho's athleticism, arguing that it isn't easy to maintain his fitness level. Some even said the idol inspired them to become active. Funnily, some fans also joked that they can no longer tell whether Minho is an idol or an athlete, given his love for working out. We wonder what sports competition Minho will participate in next. In the 20 years I've been visiting Portugal I've done all these and more: hiking with friends in the rural Minho and the Douro, exploring Lisbon and Porto with my husband, relaxing with family on the beaches of the Algarve, and discovering Madeira and the Azores on my own — and I've always been struck by how such hassle-free travel brings such rich rewards. Because Portugal is also a beauty; from its historic cities and whitewashed fishing villages to its cliff-backed beaches, vine-draped valleys, rolling fields and remote mountains, not to mention its verdant, volcanic islands, flung out like emeralds into the Atlantic. Your euros will go further here than in many other neighbouring nations, and though there are luxury stays to satisfy even the most sophisticated traveller, you really can travel, eat and drink very well here without spending big bucks. K-pop group SHINee will celebrate their 17th debut anniversary in a few days. In order to celebrate the auspicious event and provide fans with a present as well, the group is officially going to release a new single on the day of their anniversary. SHINee plans new activities for its 17th anniversary; a new single is in the cards In order to celebrate their 17th debut anniversary, K-pop idols SHINee have been planning activities to celebrate the event. According to reports from Soompi, the group will be holding an event called 'SHINee WEEK' from May 18 to 22. The segment will be available on their online streaming platform, and they will be sharing the group's first through fifth group concerts for fans to watch. The group's anniversary is on May 25, and that is also when they will be releasing their new single. The single will contain two song tracks, with one being the title. The songs will first be released on online streaming platforms around the world, while the physical copy will also be available for fans to purchase at a much later date. SHINee to hold 7th group concert in May The group had also previously announced that they will be holding their 7th group concert this May from May 23 to 25. The concert has been titled 'SHINee WORLD VII [E.S.S.A.Y] (Every Stage Shines Around You)' and will be held in South Korea at the KSPO DOME, Seoul.
