Minnesota Broadcasters Hall of Fame 2025 inductees include Lou Nanne, Terri Traen

Seven pillars of broadcasting are joining the Minnesota Broadcasters Hall of Fame. The Minnesota Broadcasters Association unveiled the 2025 inductees on Wednesday at the Pavek Museum in St. Louis Park. It's a list of people who have championed local news and supporting their communities. It's also got more than a couple of familiar voices, like former NHLer Lou Nanne and former "KG Morning Show" personality Terri Traen. Founded in 2001, the Broadcasters Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made a significant impact on Minnesota broadcasting, whether through their voice or behind the scenes. Here's the complete class of 2025. Veteran broadcaster, radio station owner, and local radio booster Dennis Carpenter of Milestone Radio, who spent a decade on air at KSTP AM from 1977 to 1987 and is currently the owner of BOB FM 106 in Ramsey. Emmy-winner Caroline Lowe, who was a reporter on the "I Team" at WCCO during her tenure, which lasted from 1977 to 2011 Former Minnesota North Star, current hockey broadcaster, and champion of the Minnesota State High School Hockey tournament, Lou Nanne Broadcaster Brett Paradis, who operates KXRA and KXRZ out of Alexandria Al and Linda Quarnstrom, who have owned and operated Q Media Group for decades with stations in Pine City, Mora, Red Wing, Lake City, and Wabasha Former "KQ Morning Show" personality Terri Traen These seven Hall of Famers will be inducted and honored during a ceremony in Stillwater on Sept. 30. The Minnesota Broadcasters Hall of Fame is housed in the Pavek Museum.
