The initiative was announced by Minister Amr Talaat and Microsoft's Public Sector General Manager Mirna Arif during a strategic meeting in Cairo, where both parties confirmed their shared commitment to boosting AI skills across sectors. The partnership is a key part of Egypt's National AI Strategy, launched in 2019, which focuses on AI education, research, and applications in both government and industry. Training programmes under this agreement will span technical, applied, and business-focused AI disciplines.
