Homecoming Gala finishes off celebrations for Arkansas' first America's Teen Peyton Bolling
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Homecoming celebrations continued for Peyton Bolling, the first Miss Arkansas' teen to ever be crowned Miss America's Teen on Saturday.
A gala was held in her honor, it served as an opportunity for the community to congratulate her and meet the new queen.
'It has been a whirlwind. We're in Orlando, you get the crown on your head, and you start the job immediately,' Bolling said.

She'll spend her year of service traveling the country, share her community service initiative civics in motion.
'I was a United States Senate page, where I spent 5 months in Washington D.C. learning from some of our most power leaders,' Bolling said. 'When I came back, I realized people don't even know who our senators are, let alone our local mayors, county clerks, J.P.s.'

Bolling said she aims to educate everyone on local government, using her experiences to do it.
'My passion truly is helping other people and building a better community. That is what civics in motion is for. That's what all of this is for,' Bolling said.
With America's crown on her head and the Natural State in her heart, she's proud knowing her home will always be here in Arkansas.
