Sindoor Van, part of an oxygen park project, will come up on a 5,000 sq m plot near the Jagatpur Bridge in Chandlodia ward under a public-private partnership (PPP) model. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) standing committee chairman Devang Dani said, "An oxygen park will be developed in the final plot number 43/1 of TP Scheme number 35 in Chandlodia ward of Ghatlodia Assembly under the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency. A total of 12,000 trees will be planted here by an organisation under a PPP model. This park will be named Sindoor Van, where 551 sindoor trees will be nurtured. "The remaining trees in this Sindoor Van will be grown using the Miyawaki method. The park's maintenance too will be carried out for five years under the public-private partnership.
