Scenic Mississippi Regional Transit offers free rides Wednesday
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The Scenic Mississippi Regional Transit (SMRT) is offering free passenger rides on Wednesday. This comes as the nation celebrates Transit Equity Days.
The transit offers a multitude of routes throughout the area. SMRT stops include La Crosse, Tomah, Prairie Du Chien, and Viroqua.
If you wish to participate, you can either print this flyer, or show a picture of the flyer on your phone.
These rides on the SMRT system usually cost around $4 for a one way trip.
