Edinboro Kiwanis Club kicks off summer vacation with family fun
School's out for the summer, and some students are kicking it off with some family fun on Wednesday.
The Edinboro Kiwanis Club held its Kiwanis Kids Day at McLane Church, inviting young kids and their families for a day of fun.

Children were welcome to try out a fire hose, grab an ice cream cone, shoot some basketball with the Edinboro basketball team, and much more.
An event organizer said the event is a perfect way to celebrate the end of the school year.

'I think our kids, they need something to celebrate at the end of school. It's just a great time to come with your families and get ready for summer. We provide families with some activities so they have some things maybe to start their summer with,' said Missy Abbott, the Edinboro Kiwanis Club president.
Next up, the Edinboro Kiwanis Club will be hosting a rubber duck race on July 4 to raise money for their club.
