Moment inferno rips through shopping centre car park as huge plume of smoke spotted from miles around
This is the moment an inferno ripped through a shopping centre car park with a giant plume of smoke visible from miles away billowing into the sky.
An investigation has been launched after a number of vehicles caught fire in a car park at Brent Cross Shopping Centre in north London today.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters rushed to the open-air car park near Prince Charles Drive in Hendon after receiving reports of the blaze at 4.06pm on Saturday.
Crews from West Hampstead, Finchley, Willesden and surrounding fire stations all attended the scene, where a number of vehicles were on fire.
