Coroner ID's victims killed in fire in Edwards
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner's Office has identified the five victims killed in the fire on Claymine Road on April 10.
Miya Ramona Howard, 27; Miyah Andrea Ventura, 1; Richard Tomas Ventura Jr., 2; Emily Rose Ventura, 6; and Monica Sage Ventura, 6, all of Edwards have been identified by the coroner's office.
The fire was reported in the 18000 block of Claymine Road at about 12:12 a.m. on April 10, according to officials.
At the time of the fire, Kern County firefighters and firefighters from Edwards Air Force Base were dispatched to the scene.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, about 50% of the residence was engulfed in flames, according to the Kern County Fire Department.
According to officals, Howard and the four children were pronounced dead at the scene.
One adult and three minors were able to escape the fire uninjured, according to the fire department.
