Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club organises a Quranic lecture

Secrets of the Quranic rhetoric The club hosted His Excellency Dr. Amhamed Safi Al Mostghanemi, Secretary-General of the Arabic Language Academy (ALA) in Sharjah, at the club's headquarters, to discuss and contemplate the secrets of the Quranic rhetoric and the aesthetics of its verses that guide hearts and elevate souls. The lecture, held on Friday, was attended by a number of prominent figures, including Mohammed Sultan Al Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Club; Musabah Saif Al Ketbi, Director of Mleiha Municipality; and Dr. Saeed Bal-Laith Al Tunaiji, in addition to the members of the Board of Directors of the club, Salem Rashid Al Ketbi, and Hamad Tamim Al Ketbi; in addition to a large attendance of athletes, trainers and members of the community, who interacted with the content of the lecture and praised the lecturer's presentation of deep values and religious inspirations. Ramadan a great opportunity to contemplate in God's words Dr. Al Mostghanemi opened his lecture by congratulating the attendees on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, stressing that this blessed month represents a great opportunity to contemplate the verses of Allah, as it is the month of fasting associated with the revelation of the Quran. Dr. Al Mostghanemi explained that the Holy Quran is not just a text to be read, but rather a living divine message that interacts with the hearts of believers, as it is the word of God that no fair-minded person hears without realising that it is a revelation sent down from the Wise Creator. Dr. Al Mostghanemi concluded his lecture by emphasising that the month of Ramadan combines two of the greatest blessings: fasting and reciting the Quran. He stressed the importance of contemplating the verses of Allah and not being satisfied with superficial recitation. Rather, one should search for the meanings of the verses and benefit from the sciences of the Arabic language, grammar, morphology, and the reasons for revelation for a deeper understanding of the message of the Quran. The power of Quran Dr. Al Mostghanemi stressed that the Holy Quran has such power and influence that if it were revealed to the mountains, they would crack. At the end of the event, Mohammed Sultan Al Khasouni, Musabah Saif Al Ketbi, Dr. Saeed Bal-Laith Al Tunaiji, Salem Rashid Al Ketbi, and Hamad Tamim Al Ketbi honoured Dr. Amhamed Safi Al Mostghanemi in appreciation of his efforts in serving the Arabic language and raising awareness of the Quranic statement, amidst wide acclaim from the attendees who expressed their gratitude for this spiritual Ramadan evening, which brought them back to the essence of contemplation and reflection on the meanings of the Book of Allah.
