Multiple road closures in Ozarks due to severe flooding
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Ozarks are seeing many roads being shut off to the public due to risks of flooding. According to the MoDOT Traveler Information Map, the following roads have been closed due to flooding on May 26. Road conditions and closures around the Ozarks
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A winter storm has dumped snow across parts of the Ozarks, resulting in closures on wet, slick roads. Tuesday, February 18 forecast: Heavy snow arrives this morning Stay up to date with these road map resources throughout Tuesday and Wednesday: MoDOT Traveler Information Map (Missouri highways) Arkansas iDrive Traveler Map (Arkansas highways) Ozarks Traffic (Springfield area roads) The following roads have been closed around the area: Route H in Wright County, between Grovespring and Manes I-44 at mile marker 11, just outside of Joplin Westbound lane of I-44 closed at mile marker 29 near Sarcoxie The snow will continue to fall all day and night Tuesday and into early Wednesday. Road conditions after latest round of winter weather
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Snow is falling throughout the Ozarks on Wednesday, Feb. 12, leaving roads snow-covered for the morning commute. All roads around Springfield and side roads are currently covered, as crews will begin to work to clear the main roads later today. There are numerous non-injury accidents in Springfield as of 7:40 a.m. Stay up to date with OzarksTraffic on crashes and slide-offs in and around Springfield. The MoDOT Traveler Information Map shows highways in western and northern Missouri are covered as of 7:40 a.m. Submit your snow photos HERE! Roads will continue to improve throughout the day but remain slushy. Tonight, be on the lookout for re-freezing to occur on some roads.
