The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), has launched the Sustainable Guidelines for Domestic Workers, aiming to instill eco-conscious practices in households across the UAE. Announced under the Year of Community initiatives, the guidelines promote electricity and water conservation among domestic workers, supporting the UAE's broader environmental goals, including climate neutrality and sustainable development. This initiative aligns with the National Energy and Water Demand Side Management Programme and the country's "We the UAE 2031" vision. The guidelines are designed to be accessible and practical, offering simple behavioural tips that encourage resource efficiency and reduce waste. To ensure wide reach and understanding, the content has been published in eight languages, reflecting the UAE's commitment to inclusivity and multicultural engagement. Eng.
