MSU's new turf going in at Plaster Stadium
Hello everyone, I'm Dan Lucy on the Ozarks First digital desk. Missouri State football is getting a new rug. In our Bear Nation update. The new turf at Plaster Stadium is being installed. The north endzone with the MoState script logo is down. And you can see about half the field is in. This new playing surface is known as Pivot Performance Turf 1.5. Tencate says it's the highest performing and most durable artificial surface they've ever manufactured. The turf cost Missouri State $1.8 million dollars. Once the turf is in, the state of Missouri will be painted at midfield, and the new Conference USA logos will go in at the 25-yard lines. Missouri State says it hopes to have the field completely installed by May 20th. For more sports watch Ozarks First news at nine and ten. And I'll see you then. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
