'The role in the partnership is to work very closely with the chipset vendors. If you think of the chipset vendors, they are capable of building chips and they need to support their customers in software and models. So they need strong software partners who understand their chip, understand their AI, work with their customers, understand their application,' he said. Subramaniam believes the edge AI business stream will start generating revenue in 2026.
