From 108 to top 20: Nuh rises among aspirational districts
Gurgaon: Nuh has made a leap from 108th to 20th position among India's 112 most backward districts in the aspirational districts programme. Chief minister Nayab Singh Saini credited the transformation to focused development in education, health, nutrition, and infrastructure since 2018.
Saini announced several initiatives during the Mewat development board meeting to further improve the quality of education and boost skill development in the district. Two transit hostels will also be set up at Mewat Model School in Ferozepur Jhirka. It was also decided that a library with a seating capacity of 200 children will be built at the Nuh district headquarters.
