Saudi Arabia reopens Umrah visas from June 10 after concluding Hajj season
Saudi Arabia will begin issuing
Umrah visas
on Tuesday, June 10, following the end of this year's
Hajj
season. The
Ministry of Hajj and Umrah
confirmed that the first group of
international Umrah pilgrims
is expected to arrive on Wednesday, June 11.
The ministry's calendar marks June 10 (14 Dhul Hijjah 1446) as the start date for visa processing. Umrah companies and foreign agents were previously instructed to complete service agreements by May 27.

Unlike Hajj, Umrah is not limited to specific dates and can be performed year-round. The upcoming Umrah cycle will continue into 2026 (1447 Hijri). The ministry is expected to release updates on quotas, travel rules, and health protocols in the coming months.
The restart of visa services is part of Saudi Arabia's efforts to maintain orderly pilgrimage arrangements while facilitating religious travel for Muslims worldwide.
Hajj 2025
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the safe and efficient organization of this year's Hajj, commending the efforts that enabled millions of pilgrims to perform their rites without difficulty.
He praised the Saudi leadership for their dedication in ensuring a secure and spiritually meaningful pilgrimage for all.
Similar messages of appreciation were extended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Chairman of the Presidential Court.
Amid this regional recognition, Indian pilgrims also took part in the central Hajj rituals, including Wuquf-e-Arafat, as confirmed by the Indian Embassy in Riyadh.
