Club honours Pakistan Ambassador
Mr. Mohammad Afzal Bhatti, Chairman of The Pakistan Club Bahrain, hosted a distinguished lunch gathering on Friday, 25th April 2025, at the Sadoun Guest House to honour His Excellency Mr. Saqib Rauf, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The event was attended by Mr. Aneel Zafar Deputy Head of Mission Pakistan Embassy, Bahrain, along with several prominent leaders from the Pakistani community and the business sector in Bahrain. Among the distinguished guests were Mr. M. Akram Choudhry, Mr. Ejaz Choudhry, Mr. M. Sajid Sheikh, Mr. M. Iqba Joz, Mr. M. Shuja Ul Islam, Mr. Jalil Malik, Mr. Samiur Rahman, The Chairman Pakistan School Bahrain, Dr. Saleem, Mr. Awais Goldmith along with other notable members of the community. Excellent platform The luncheon served as an excellent platform for strengthening community ties, fostering unity, and discussing initiatives for the welfare and advancement of the Pakistani diaspora in Bahrain. The event concluded on a warm and positive note, with attendees engaging in fruitful discussions and reaffirming their commitment to unity and progress. Pakistan Resolution Day celebrated amid Ramadan's spirit of reflection
TDT | Manama This year, Pakistan Resolution Day coincides with Ramadan, a month of deep spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and renewed commitment to faith. It is a time that reinforces the collective will of Pakistanis and serves as a powerful reminder of the values of sacrifice and perseverance – principles embedded in the nation's very foundation. Yesterday, the Pakistan Club in Bahrain commemorated Pakistan Resolution Day with a dignified flag-hoisting ceremony held at the club premises. The event paid tribute to the historic Lahore Resolution passed on this day in 1940, which laid the foundation for the creation of Pakistan. The national flag of Pakistan was hoisted by Mr. Mohammad Afzal Bhatti, Chairman of the Pakistan Club, alongside Qari Samiur Rahman, General Secretary of the Club, in the presence of Mr. Usman Butt, Mr. Sajid Butt, Mr. Ch. Ghulam Nabi, Mr. Asad Ullah, and other prominent members of the Pakistani community in Bahrain. The gathering resonated with patriotic spirit, as attendees came together to honor their homeland and reflect on the sacrifices made for the nation's independence.
