UAE: Supermarket shut down for posing danger to public health
Authorities in UAE's capital Abu Dhabi have shut down a supermarket for posing danger to public health.
On Wednesday, March 5, the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (Adafsa) said that it shut down a store in the Musaffah Industrial Area of Abu Dhabi.
Mohammed Akhtar Supermarket, with Commercial License No. (N- 2790260), was closed for violating Food Law No. (2) of 2008 in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The authority added that by violating the law, the supermarket was a "danger to public health".
On Saturday, February 15, authorities had shut down a supermarket in Abu Dhabi for posing a danger to public health.
On Thursday, February 20, a cafe was shut down for the same reason.
