Houthi Official: We Allowed British Aircraft Carrier to Pass Through Red Sea Yemen's Houthi group announced late Friday that it had permitted a British aircraft carrier to pass through the Red Sea after the vessel communicated with them and declared it was 'transiting for maneuvers and not conducting any combat operations.' اضافة اعلان The announcement was made in a post on X by Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the group's Supreme Political Council. Al-Houthi stated that the group had been contacted 'regarding the passage of the British aircraft carrier (HMS), which said it would transit for maneuvering purposes and would not carry out any combat operations in the Red Sea.' He added that the group informed the British side it would allow the passage of the carrier 'as long as it is on a non-combat mission or does not pose an aggressive intent, in order to avoid distracting the armed forces (Houthis) from supporting Gaza, which is facing extermination by the Israeli entity.' As of 07:00 GMT, there had been no immediate comment from British authorities on the matter. The UK has previously joined the U.S. in conducting repeated airstrikes against the Houthis in Yemen, in response to the group's attacks in the Red Sea. The Houthis remain committed to launching missiles toward Israel as long as Tel Aviv continues what they describe as a genocide in the Gaza Strip. They are an attempt to evade negotiations to return prisoners and stop the genocide. Those who failed in Gaza will fail in Yemen—by God's grace—and will not achieve any accomplishment." He pointed out that the temporary entity, which is committing—heinously—more crimes of genocide and starvation in Gaza to make Trump appear a dwarf in the region, is unable to stop the genocide or deliver aid, and demonstrates indifference to its existence. It is no surprise that it is hyping up its failed terrorist attacks in Yemen. In response, authorities in Sana'a have warned that this provocation will be met with a painful and decisive retaliation, while reaffirming Yemen's steadfast support for the Palestinian cause. In reaction to the intensifying aggression and the direct targeting of non-military facilities, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a senior member of the Supreme Political Council, posted on the X platform (formerly Twitter) that Yemen's support for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip will not waver. He further warned that a response to the Israeli assault on Yemeni territory is inevitable and urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to prepare for his resignation. Mohammed Ali al-Houthi tweeted on "X" platform, "The blessed strike proves the development that the Leader spoke of, confirms the failure of the defense systems in the region and the entity, and confirms the continued failure of the American aggression to stop the Yemeni support for Gaza." He called on the enemies to halt this strike, which plowed through Lod Airport and achieved a direct hit that the enemy could not cover up. Al-Houthi added, "The enemies must acknowledge their criminal actions to stop the support that failed and did not achieve their goals." The member of the Supreme Political Council also emphasized the importance of continuing support for Gaza as a religious mission and an honorable and necessary stance to stop the criminality and terrorism of the entity's crimes of genocide there.
