Amir of Kuwait Arrives in Riyadh to Attend Gulf-US Summit
RIYADH, May 14: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah arrived in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, accompanied by an official delegation, to participate in the Gulf-US Summit taking place in the capital, Riyadh.
Upon arrival, His Highness was welcomed at the airport by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Governor of the Riyadh Region; GCC Secretary-General Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi; Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait and Head of the Honorary Mission Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khalid Al Saud; Kuwaiti Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah; and Mayor of the Riyadh Region Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf.
The Amir is accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes the Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, and other senior officials. (KUNA)
