RAK Ruler receives Eid Al Adha well-wishers
His Highness Sheikh Saud exchanged Eid greetings with them in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah. The RAK Ruler accepted greetings from Sheikhs, senior officials, directors of federal and local departments, along with citizen, who wished him continued health and well-being, and to bring further prosperity and progress to the UAE's leadership and people, as well as development to the Arab and Islamic nations. A number of Sheikhs and officials attended the meetings.

Ras Al Khaimah releases 411 prisoners ahead of Eid Al Adha
Ras Al Khaimah has pardoned 411 prisoners ahead of Eid Al Adha, following a directive from its ruler. His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, ordered the release to give inmates a chance to start fresh and reunite them with their families. According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, has directed the necessary legal procedures to carry out the release. The Attorney-General of Ras Al Khaimah, Hasan Saeed Mehaimed, said the move reflects Sheikh Saud's commitment to reintegrating inmates into society and bringing joy to their loved ones. Each year, UAE leaders grant pardons to prisoners ahead of Eid Al Adha as a humanitarian move to promote mercy and forgiveness during this important time. This initiative is part of the country's long-standing tradition of showing compassion during religious occasions.

Saud bin Saqr performs funeral prayer for Sheikha Moza bint Abdullah Al Habsi
25 Apr 2025 18:52 RAS AL KHAIMAH (WAM) H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, along with H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, on Friday performed the funeral prayer over the body of Sheikha Moza bint Abdullah Al Moza was the wife of the late Sheikh Kaid bin Mohammed Al Qasimi. The funeral prayer took place following the Jumaa prayer at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Ras Al Sheikhs and officials joined H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr in the prayer. H.H. Sheikh Saud extended his heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the sons and family of the deceased, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest her soul in Paradise.
