Taking to Instagram, Adele shared a new health update with her followers. She posted in her story: "Having a blood test today for my anaemia. "Hopefully this one will go well and I will get more medication. "We're not sure why my iron count is low... either damage to my blood from chemo or due to having a stoma. "Without my medication I have no energy. I'm not running at the moment and I'm so tired all the time. "Hopefully I'll get some more medicine once my GP has seen today's results... otherwise I'm going to be consistently falling asleep until I die." Adele first suffered cancer symptoms on I'm A Celebrity in 2019, although she was not diagnosed until 2021. The DJ previously told the Monday Mile podcast about how chemotherapy removed her fingerprints. Adele said at the time: 'Chemotherapy is different with every single person. 'And with me, it really affected my skin. Adele Roberts 'looks like she's been run over by a tractor' as she shows off marked stomach after Dancing On Ice finale 'So it took my fingerprints off. I couldn't use my fingers, I couldn't use touch screens, I couldn't use my phone, self-checkouts, things like that. 'It really damaged the bottom of my feet - it looked like they'd been burnt or something like that. 'It also turned my tongue black. I had these black spots on my tongue.' The radio presenter now lives with a stoma bag, which she has named Audrey. Last year, Adele revealed the real reason why she hasn't married her partner of 20 years. What are the red flag warning signs of bowel cancer? IT'S the fourth most common cancer in the UK, the second deadliest - yet bowel cancer can be cured, if you catch it early enough. While screening is one way of ensuring early diagnosis, there are things everyone can do to reduce their risk of the deadly disease. Being aware of the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer, spotting any changes and checking with your GP can prove a life-saver. If you notice any of the signs, don't be embarrassed and don't ignore them. Doctors are used to seeing lots of patients with bowel problems. The five red-flag symptoms of bowel cancer include: Bleeding from the back passage, or blood in your poo A change in your normal toilet habits - going more frequently for example Pain or a lump in your tummy Extreme tiredness Losing weight Tumours in the bowel typically bleed, which can cause a shortage of red blood cells, known as anaemia. It can cause tiredness and sometimes breathlessness. In some cases bowel cancer can block the bowel, this is known as a bowel obstruction. Other signs include: Gripping pains in the abdomen Feeling bloated Constipation and being unable to pass wind Being sick Feeling like you need to strain - like doing a number two - but after you've been to the loo While these are all signs to watch out for, experts warn the most serious is noticing blood in your stools. But, they warn it can prove tricky for doctors to diagnose the disease, because in most cases these symptoms will be a sign of a less serious disease. The star admitted her concerns when quizzed about what she might wear if they were to marry Kate Holderness, who she has been in a relationship with since 2004. Adele said: "This is the reason I've not got married, because I don't know what to wear - I'm being serious. Clothes really overwhelm me. "Kate has to pick her moments when she takes me shopping because I just get really overwhelmed with choice. "And so if you came to my house you'd see Kate's rail - which is like beautiful and it's all the colours of the rainbow - and mine is just black, black, black, black, black - and maybe one white top."

EastEnders' Natalie Cassidy admits ITV The Chase appearance led to savage family reaction
EastEnders icon Natalie Cassidy's family 'ripped her apart' after an 'embarrassing appearance' on The Chase. The 41-year-old revealed she was overcome with nerves during the first round on the hit ITV show. It left Natalie, best known for playing Sonia Fowler, feeling as though she 'looked like a potato'. Speaking on the Monday Mile podcast with Olympian Aimee Fuller, Natalie revealed she enjoys taking part in quiz shows, having appeared on The Weakest Link and Blankety Blank. But she says she was left pleading with her family not to watch her appearance on The Chase. READ MORE: EastEnders' Natalie Cassidy speaks out on concerns for her health issue that has 'no cure' READ MORE: Rob Beckett reveals reason for shock exit from BBC Radio 2 show The mum-of-two explained: 'The Chase was one of the most embarrassing things I've ever done because that first round, you have to do a quickfire, and I genuinely looked like a potato. I was so nervous, I just stood, I looked like a lifeless potato. 'I was so nervous, the light came down, my family ripped me apart when it came out. I was like please don't watch it, it was so different from sitting in your lounge.' Natalie appeared on The Chase in 2016 alongside Hairy Bikers star Dave Myers, Olympian Amy Williams and Westlife's Nicky Byrne. They managed to build a prize fund of £10,000 before facing Mark 'The Beast' Labbett in the final. The soapstar at one point left host Bradley Walsh struggling to contain his laughter as The Chaser found himself at the end of a fiery comment from Natalie. The pair were facing the question 'who was the last foreign-born American Secretary of State' at the time. Natalie guessed Madeleine Albrighton, while The Beast opted for Colin Powell. Delighted to learn her answer was right, Natalie said: 'Sometimes you've got to guess, haven't you?' The Beast responded: 'Honestly, thought I knew that one…' only for Natalie to interrupt and fire back: 'Well you didn't, did you?' The star added: 'Like a bulldog chewing a wasp that face. Look, he's really upset.' The final round saw Natalie and the late Dave Myers facing off against The Beast as he looked to answer 13 questions correctly. Despite the pair managing one pushback against the Chaser, he managed to catch them in 56 seconds. Speaking on the Monday Mile, Natalie revealed she also had an unfortunate experience on Michael McIntyre's The Wheel. She added: 'The Wheel, I never got picked, I was fuming, just sat there and didn't do anything.' Earlier this year Natalie revealed she would be leaving EastEnders for the second time, having spent 22 years playing Sonia across two spells. In a heartfelt statement, Natalie expressed her sentiments: "I feel extremely sad to be writing this, but also very excited. 'After another 11 solid years back on the square, I have decided it's time to move on to pastures new. EastEnders is in my bones so I will never forget where I started my career and I will continue to love the show."
