Meet the Skyline Fire Department's newest member… a goat 'I believe in making a difference right here in our own community,' said Brad Hill, State Farm agent in a press release. 'What better way to do that than by donating blood and potentially saving the life of a family member, friend, coworker or neighbor. When you give with Community Blood Center of the Ozarks, your donation stays local and supports hospitals like Cox Monett. I am proud to sponsor this challenge, because every blood donation makes an impact close to home.' First place will be given $750, second place will receive $500 and third place will get $250. 'Our mission is to grow a healthy and strong community, and this is a perfect way to do just that,' said Elizabeth Sturgell, executive director of the Monett Area YMCA in the release. 'Every blood donation not only helps save lives, it also directly supports the programs and services we provide here at the Y. We are grateful for CBCO's generosity and excited to be part of this impactful event.' For more information on how to donate, visit their website, or call 417-227-5006.
