Morehead City's Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament to close downtown roads
MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. (WNCT) — The Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament is almost here and will cause some roads to be closed in Morehead City.
These temporary street closures will last from June 4-16. The Morehead City Library on South Eighth Street will remain open despite visitors being unable to park directly in front of the building.
Evans Street between 7th and 8th Streets will be closed from 8am June 5 until 3pm June 16. Shepard Street from 9th Street to the intersection of Evans Street will be closed from 8am June 4 until 3pm June 16. South 8th Street between Shepard and Evans Streets from 8am June 4 until 3pm June 16. The Gravel Parking Lot at 8th and Shepard Streets will be closed from 8am June 4 until 3pm June 16.
Roads will reopen on June 16.
