Cape Breton family hopes search finally over for missing son
Justin MacDonald, 34, disappeared in July 2024 and his case was declared a homicide months later. On Monday, suspected human remains were found along Morley Road. While the remains have yet to be identified, MacDonald's family hopes the discovery could bring them closure. Kyle Moore has the story.

Police investigating suspected human remains found in Cape Breton County
Cape Breton Regional Police are investigating after a person reported finding suspected human remains on Monday in a rural area about 20 kilometres south of Sydney. According to a news release, police were called to the Morley Road area at around 5 p.m. A forensic identification unit is at the scene and will be working with the medical examiner's office to identify the remains, the release said. Access to Morley Road is restricted and police are asking the public to avoid the area while they investigate. MORE TOP STORIES
