The New Orleans Saints have had some very impressive undrafted free agents over the years, and whether they ended up panning out for them or for another team, seeing them succeed at the sport they love is always a nice feeling. One of the more notable pickups they had a few years ago was Tulane linebacker Nick Anderson, who they signed in 2023 but would not retain as a part of the final roster cuts. This would lead to an opportunity in the CFL for Anderson instead, who signed with the Edmonton Elks on March 11 the next year, and immediately made a name for himself there. In his first season with the team, he put together 111 defensive tackles, an interception, 3 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles.
