Rescue operation underway as climber falls 10m near Mount Arapiles
Emergency services are conducting a rescue operation after a person fell while climbing near Mount Arapiles, west of Horsham in western Victoria.
It is understood that the person fell about 10 metres and is stuck on a ledge about 20m above the ground.
SES personnel from Horsham, Stawell and Ararat are at scene, along with crews from Fire Rescue Victoria, the Country Fire Authority and Ambulance Victoria.
A paramedic hiked up the mountain to help prepare for the rescue and an air ambulance is nearby.#moretocome
