'We're thrilled': Town centre chippy up for best in borough award
A much-loved town centre chippy is in the running for an award.
Located at 14-16 Market Street, Mr Fry has made the top 10 in The Bolton News Best Chippy Award competition.
Owner Millie Johnson is delighted about the nomination.
She said: 'I've worked here for six years in total and been the owner for two.
'We're thrilled to be nominated for the The Bolton News Best Chippy Award, we hope something like this would put Bolton on the map and promote our own centre.
'The town centre has seen some difficult days recently, so we're grateful that we're able to promote the community in such a wonderful and meaningful way.
'We're a local business and have three members of staff at the moment, so it's a pleasure to be able to get our name out there and promote the restaurant.
