Arjun Kapoor's Heartfelt Tribute To Nirmal Kapoor: ‘Age Is A Cruel Mistress'

Nirmal Kapoor, mother of Anil Kapoor, Boney Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, passed away on May 2 at the age of 90 due to age-related issues. Several celebrities from the film industry paid their respects to the matriarch on social media. Now, days after her demise, her grandson, Arjun Kapoor, shared an emotional note remembering his grandmother.
Taking to Instagram, Arjun dropped a bunch of throwback pictures with his late grandma and mentioned that he will be eternally grateful for the fact that he grew up around all four of his grandparents.
He wrote, 'I bid goodbye to Dadi last Friday at the hospital, it felt like a part of my childhood and my life went away with her through all the ups and downs life gives us. Somehow, our grandparents give us only love and reasons to smile. Age is a cruel mistress who restricts us to issues at some time in life, but Dadi for me was always the same, always feeding us, always worrying about us, always there, and now she won't be."
'But I feel that through her 4 children and all of us grandchildren, her legacy will live on. Every time we come together for a festival or a meal or an event, her memories will continue to make us remember her in all her glory. Love u Dadi. Aapka khabsoorat grandson ARJAN (she always said me name like that)," Arjun concluded.
