As per a Times Now report, this ambitious bullet train line will stretch across 767 kilometers, linking major cities such as Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad. The route will include 11 stations strategically placed across the states of Maharashtra and Telangana.
The Mumbai-Hyderabad line is part of a broader plan by the Indian government to introduce six new high-speed rail routes, announced back in 2019. While actual construction hasn't begun yet, early groundwork began with tender processes in October 2020. According to The Metro Rail Guy , once completed, this project is expected to revolutionize travel in the region by making long-distance journeys quicker, safer, and more comfortable.
