Vijay Antony's Maargan to release in June
The makers of Vijay Antony's murder mystery crime thriller, which was earlier titled Gagana Maargan, have renamed it Maargan. It has also been announced that the film will be released in theatres on June 27. The film marks the directorial debut of editor Leo John Paul, who is known for his work in the first two Pizza films, Attakathi, Soodhu Kavvum, Mundasupatti, Thegidi, and Indru Nettru Naalai. He won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Editor for Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, starring Vijay Sethupathi. Leo himself serves as the editor for the film and Vijay Antony is its music composer. The rest of the technical crew comprises cinematographer Yuva S and art director Raja A. Maargan's cast also includes Samuthirakani, Mahanathi Shankar, Prithika, Brigida Saga, Vinodh Sagar, Deepshikha, Archana, Kanimozhi, and Anthagaram Natarajan. Releasing in Tamil, the film is also expected to be screened in Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and Telugu. Maargan is produced by Vijay Antony Film Corporation.

Vishnu Vishal, Jwala Gutta celebrate wedding anniversary with the arrival of their baby girl
It was double celebrations at the household of actor Vishnu Vishal and his wife, Indian badminton player Jwala Gutta. The couple, who celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary on Tuesday, also revealed that they became parents for the second time on the same day. Taking to social media, Vishnu announced that they have become parents to a baby girl. Vishnu wrote, 'We are blessed with a BABY GIRL. Aryan is an elder brother now. Vishnu and Jwala got married in 2021 after a few years of courtship. He married Rajini in 2010, and separated in 2018. On the acting front, Vishnu Vishal was last seen in Aishwarya Rajinikanth 's Lal Salaam (2024), where he co-starred with Rajinikanth and Vikranth, He recently reunited with filmmaker Ramkumar, who has previously directed him in films like Mundasupatti and Ratsasan. Titled Irandu Vaanam, the Ramkumar directorial also stars Mamitha Baiju in the lead. Apart from this project, Vishnu is also looking forward to the release of Praveen K's Aaryan, which will see him play the role of a cop. He also has the long-pending movie, Mohandas, which is helmed by Kalavu director Mohandas, set to hit screens soon.

Chennai: Well known actor and producer Vishnu Vishal on Tuesday announced that his wife Jwala Gutta and he had now been blessed with a baby girl. Taking to his social media timelines, Vishnu Vishal posted a picture of his wife and his new-born daughter's hands in his and another picture of his son visiting the newborn child. What has added to the happiness is that the child has been born on the actor's fourth wedding anniversary. Vishnu Vishal shared the happiness with his fans and well wishers. Dances for the film will be choreographed by Leelavathi and VFX will be handled by Harihara Suthen of Lorven Studios. The film is to be produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan and co-produced by G Saravanan and Sai Siddharth.
