Handover ceremony of a donation presented by the Turkish authorities to the Lebanese Armed Forces
Thursday, 29 May 2025 A ceremony was held at the Port of Beirut for the handover of aerial equipment, military supplies, and medical materials donated by the Turkish authorities to the LAF. The donation was received in the presence of the Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Murat Lutem, the Deputy Chief of Staff for Equipment representing the LAF Commander, General Rodolph Haikal, and the Turkish Military Attaché, Lt. Col. Erdinc Durmaz, along with a number of officers. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Brigadier General P.S.C Imad Khreish, Deputy Chief of Staff for Equipment, read a letter of gratitude on behalf of the LAF Commander and presented it to Ambassador Lutem, expressing appreciation for the Turkish authorities' support to the LAF during this critical period. He also presented Ambassador Lutem with a commemorative shield in recognition of his efforts.

Geagea broaches latest local and regional developments with Turkish Ambassador
NNA - Lebanese Forces Party leader, Samir Geagea, on Wednesday received in Maarab, the newly appointed Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon, Murat Lutem, who came on a protocol visit. The meeting took place in the presence of LF Executive Committee member and former MP Eddy Abi Lama, Head of the Party's foreign relations apparatus, former Minister Richard Kouyoumjian, and Apparatus official Tony Darwish.
