How to watch USMNT vs Switzerland live: Stream link, TV channel, team news, prediction
Mauricio Pochettino is feeling the heat a little as the USMNT host Switzerland on Tuesday in what is a crucial friendly just a year out from the 2026 World Cup on home soil. MORE — Which teams have qualified for the 2026 World Cup? Advertisement Following on from the Nations League debacle in March the USMNT has now lost three-straight games, as a young and inexperienced side lost 2-1 to Turkiye in East Hartford, Connecticut on Saturday. Pochettino gave plenty of youngsters a chance to impress, and some like Jack McGlynn did, but he's missing several key players this summer for various reasons and there is real concern among the USMNT fanbase about where the team is heading. This friendly against Switzerland will give the USMNT a very good idea of how things are shaping up ahead of the Gold Cup this summer, and just 12 months before the 2026 World Cup where they are expected to flourish in front of their home fans. Switzerland beat Mexico 4-2 in a friendly in Salt Lake City, Utah on Saturday with Murat Yakin's team looking as solid as ever. In Breel Embolo, Granit Xhaka, Yann Sommer and Manuel Akanji they have an experienced core and their run to the quarterfinals of the European championships last summer proved their quality. In many ways the USMNT should aim to replicate what Switzerland have created. Being tough to beat and relying on a solid, defensive base and then allowing talented attackers to flourish on the counter. How to watch USMNT vs Switzerland live, stream link and start time Kick off time: 8pm ET Tuesday (June 10) Venue: GEODIS Park — Nashville, Tennessee Streaming, TV channel: Peacock en Espanol USMNT team news, focus We should see Tyler Adams, Tim Ream, Matt Turner, Haji Wright and Brenden Aaronson all start as Pochettino rotates his lineup. The likes of McGlynn, Diego Luna and Malik Tillman impressed against Turkiye, but defensively the USMNT need to improve as they can't keep making sloppy mistakes at the back. Mark McKenzie could come in to start at center back, while Johnny Cardoso could be rested after a long season for Real Betis and ahead of his pending move to Atletico Madrid. Advertisement OUT: Christian Pulisic (requested), Yunus Musah (requested), Antonee Robinson (knee), Weston McKennie (Club World Cup duty), Tim Weah (Club World Cup duty), Zach Steffen (knee), DeJuan Jones (muscle), Sergino Dest (fitness) Switzerland team news, focus The Swiss will likely roll out Xhaka, Embolo and Akanji to start once again, while Bologna trio Dan Ndoye, Remo Freuler and Michel Aebischer are all players to keep a close eye on. Fabian Rieder is a rising star. USMNT vs Switzerland prediction This feels like the USMNT will have plenty of problems at the back again and Switzerland showed how clinical they could be against Mexico over the weekend. Expect another defeat for Pochettino's understrength side. USMNT 1-3 Switzerland.

Aguirre unhappy as Mexico concede four against Swiss
El Tri were facing the Swiss as part of their warm-up for this month's CONCACAF Gold Cup but their frailties were exposed by Murat Yakin's team. "When you concede four goals, you have to hang your head and go home to train," said Aguirre, "We made a lot of mistakes, both collectively and individually, and when you do that against teams of this caliber, you get punished,' he added. Switzerland took the lead in the 20th minute when Ricardo Rodriguez sent a deep pass to Breel Embolo, who fired past goalkeeper Raul Rangel. Swiss keeper Gregor Kobel denied Mexico in the 29th minute when he blocked a point-blank shot from Santiago Gimenez with his chest. Vincent Sierro hit the bar for Mexico in the 34th minute while at the other end Rangel did well to keep out a dangerous shot from Silvan Widmer. Gimenez brought Mexico level with a 51st minute header but the Swiss restored their advantage 13 minutes later with Zeki Amdouni side-footing home from close range. Dan Ndoye made it 3-1 firing home from a tight angle after being well set-up by Fabian Rieder but Mexico gave themselves some hope when Angel Sepulveda was foud by Alexis Vega and beat Kobel with a superb, first-time shot. But as Mexico pushed forward in search of an equaliser, the Swiss hit them on the break with Rieder providing the finish with a deft chip from the edge of the box.

How to watch Northern Ireland vs Switzerland FOR FREE: TV channel and live stream for friendly today
Northern Ireland face Switzerland in an international friendly in Belfast tonight. Michael O'Neill's side return to action at Windsor Park on Friday evening in confident mood having successfully secured promotion to League B of the Nations League back in November despite squandering a two-goal advantage in their final match out in Luxembourg. They ended up finishing two points ahead of Bulgaria, who now face a nervy two-legged play-off tie against the Republic of Ireland. Northern Ireland are now four matches unbeaten since their narrow loss in Plovdiv last summer, though have no competitive football at all to come in the first half of 2025 with no involvement in those Nations League play-offs and having been drawn in a four-team qualifying group for the 2026 World Cup alongside Slovakia, Luxembourg and the winners of the high-profile Nations League quarter-final showdown between Germany and Italy. Instead it's a trio of friendlies ahead of that first qualifier back in Luxembourg in September, with Switzerland's visit to Belfast followed by a trip to Sweden on Tuesday night and home meeting with Iceland in June. The Swiss were relegated to League B of the Nations League after finishing bottom of a group containing Spain, Denmark and Serbia, while they were also drawn into a four-team World Cup qualifying group along with Sweden, Slovenia and Kosovo. They lost all but two games in the Nations League and are now winless in their last seven outings dating back to Euro 2024 last summer, where they drew with Germany, dumped out Italy and made the quarter-finals before losing to England on penalties. Head coach Murat Yakin will be eager to restore some momentum in these friendlies against Northern Ireland and Luxembourg - plus summer meetings with Mexico and the USA - ahead of kicking off their World Cup qualifying journey against Kosovo in September. TV channel: Northern Ireland vs Switzerland is being shown live and free-to-air on BBC Two in Northern Ireland, with coverage beginning at 7pm GMT ahead of a 7:45pm kick-off at Windsor Park. Live stream: You can also catch the action live online for free via the BBC Sport website and BBC iPlayer.
