10 Languages, 10-Day Mass Connect & Modi's Message: How BJP Plans To Win Narrative War

Last Updated: BJP's 'Tiranga Yatra' will see the party crediting PM Modi's leadership, while highlighting opposition statements that came across as tacitly supporting Pakistan Operation Sindoor is 'paused", as Prime Minister Narendra Modi puts it, setting narrative of a 'new normal" of 'crushing terror universities" like Bahawalpur and Muridke. In probably one of his most straightforward addresses to the nation, PM Modi refused to take any credit but showered praise on India's tri-service, paramilitary, and scientific community for Operation Sindoor. Stressing that it was Pakistan that requested for a ceasefire, the prime minister warned: 'I am repeating; we have just suspended our retaliatory action against Pakistan's terror and military camps. In the coming days, we will measure every step of Pakistan on the criterion of what sort of attitude it adopts ahead." But in this age of information warfare, where Pakistan has flooded the internet with doctored video to suggest it demolished India's prized S400 air defence system, or their prime minister's midnight press conference claiming 'victory", how does BJP plan to take Modi's message of 'India struck at the heart of Pakistan"? MODI'S MESSAGE IN 10 LANGUAGES On Monday, PM Modi reminded the world that he still believes it's not the age of war but 'neither is it the age of terror". The prime minister, using the occasion of Buddha Poornima, sent out the message of peace but with a caveat: 'The path of peace also goes through power". For those who wondered about US President Donald Trump's offer of mediating in the Kashmir matter, Modi left nothing to confusion for the domestic crowd. 'Today, I would also like to tell the global community that our stated policy has been: if there are talks with Pakistan, it will be only on terrorism; and if there are talks with Pakistan, it will be only on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK)." But the problem lies with the language in which he spoke—Hindi. According to the 2011 census, only 43.63 per cent of the people in India can speak Hindi. The southern and north-eastern states, apart from Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim, have a very low percentage of Hindi speakers. For instance, in Tamil Nadu only 2.3 per cent speak Hindi. So how will Modi's message reach them? The government used Artificial Intelligence and dubbed PM Modi's speech in 10 regional languages in an hour's time—Telegu, Bengali, Gujarati, Assamese, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Punjabi, Kannada and Odia. They beamed the regional versions in respective Doordarshan channels and released on YouTube channels, garnering massive eyeballs and taking the message deep. BJP's TIRANGA YATRA If the government is taking Modi's message of 'We have defeated Pakistan every time" to the masses with multiple languages, the BJP isn't sitting idle either. The party now plans to hold a 10-day nationwide mass connect movement through which it plans to not just portray a brave face of the BJP-led Centre but will inevitably do a contrast of response between Congress-led UPA era and BJP-led NDA era. The movement will be called 'Tiranga Yatra', which is expected to kick off from May 13 and will continue till May 23. BJP will not just hold press conferences across major capitals, but its member of MPs, general secretaries, and even select Union ministers, will be asked to tour certain states where they will reach out to intellectuals, senior citizens, trader bodies, clubs among others, say sources. BJP's Yuva Morcha and Mahila Morcha will also be used during this 'Tiranga Yatra' where the goal will be to claim victory and credit PM Modi's leadership, while highlighting opposition statements that came across as tacitly supporting Pakistan. BJP will mount a social media campaign with regular multiple reels on Instagram targeting the youth, while the cadres will distribute leaflets highlighting, in bullet points, why Operation Sindoor is a 'gamechanger', a BJP source told News18. With Bihar election scheduled in the year-end, less than six months from now, one can expect BJP to become more aggressive in its narrative war in the coming days. Army chief, PM to fund reconstruction of Pakistan mosque damaged by Indian strikes — minister

(REUTERS/File) KARACHI: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Asim Munir will personally finance the reconstruction of a mosque damaged by an Indian missile strike in the Muridke city of Punjab's Sheikhupura district, a Pakistani federal minister announced on Monday. India last week struck multiple Pakistani cities with missiles over an attack in the disputed Kashmir region. The strikes drew a 'precise, proportionate' response from Islamabad. However, four Indian missiles hit a mosque and an adjacent house within a complex in Muridke that New Delhi said belonged to a militant group, an allegation Pakistan has denied. On Monday, Food Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Gen Munir and other officials paid a visit to the Government Jamia Ummul Qura Mosque in the eastern Pakistani city. 'Announcing the government's decision to reconstruct the mosque, he (Hussain) stated that the PM and the army chief have pledged to rebuild the mosque at their personal expense,' the Pakistani Ministry of National Food Security and Research said in a statement. The Indian strikes had killed three Pakistani civilians and injured two others, according to Pakistani media. During Monday's visit, Pakistani officials met with the injured civilians and inquired about their well-being, according to the national food ministry. They announced top-tier medical care along with support for the families of the martyrs. The visit came as director generals of military operations from India and Pakistan held talks, Reuters reported, following a US-brokered ceasefire that stopped four days of intense drone, missile and artillery fire. Last week's hostilities were triggered by a militant attack in Indian-administered Kashmir's Pahalgam resort town that killed 26 tourists on April 22. New Delhi blamed Pakistan for the assault, Islamabad denied it. Kashmir has remained a flashpoint between India and Pakistan since their independence in 1947, with both claiming the region in full but ruling it in part. Both countries have fought two of their three wars over the region.

Indian Forces Reveal SHOCKING Proof Of Pak Army's Terror Nexus; 'Top Commanders Part Of…'

India has exposed the Pakistan Army's deep-rooted nexus with terrorist groups by releasing undeniable visual and intelligence evidence. Busting Pakistan's claims that only civilians were killed in the Muridke strike, India released images showing uniformed Pakistan Army and police personnel attending the funeral of slain terrorists from the banned outfit Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD), led by global terrorist Hafiz Abdul Rauf. Among the dead were key terror operatives Qari Abdul Malik, Khalid, and Mudassir. The coffins were seen draped in Pakistani flags, receiving state honors—disproving Islamabad's narrative and revealing the military's direct support for terrorist elements. This comes after India's May 7 precision strikes under Operation Sindoor targeted nine terror hubs across Pakistan and PoK in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack.#operationsindoor #india #pakistan #indianarmy #pakistanarmy #pmmodi Read More

Terror group supporters posted on TikTok, YouTube and Google from site targeted in Indian airstrikes

Social media accounts expressing support for a Pakistan-based terror group linked to al Qaeda appear to have posted recent videos from a Pakistan mosque targeted by Indian airstrikes. Sky News has found videos posted on TikTok, YouTube and Google that appear to be filmed at the Markaz Taiba Mosque in Muridke. The captions and usernames contain expressions of support for the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and a group called '313'. Sky News has found and geolocated multiple videos that appear to be filmed in the area where the captions include either or both '313' and LeT. Some of the videos show men in the streets with guns. Another post captioned a video of children doing martial arts training inside the targeted mosque, "we are little soldiers, and we fight the non-believers". The caption uses the hashtag #جہاد313, which translates to '313' jihad. '313' appears to refer to the 313 Brigade, a proscribed terror organisation in Pakistan. In a TikTok video posted to the Google page for Markaz Taiba Mosque in Muridke, a man can be seen walking along the street with a gun. The account that posted that video wrote in their description, "Lashkar Taiba, Mujahid Force, '313' and Markaz Taiba Muridke", self-proclaiming their support for the groups. India's retaliatory strikes on Pakistani-adminstered Kashmir and Pakistan on 7 May came after a deadly attack in Indian-administered Kashmir last month. Gunmen opened fire on tourists, killing 26 people and injuring dozens in a popular holiday spot near Pahalgam, Kashmir, on 22 April. LeT were accused by India of involvement in the Pahalgam attack through their proxy the Resistance Front, which claimed responsibility for the attack. LeT, which is designated as a terrorist organisation by the UN Security Council and the UK, focuses on fighting Indian control in Kashmir and is based in the Punjab region of Pakistan. Pakistan denies allegations of terror camps operating in the country. This region has been in the control of the Punjabi government since 2010. The Punjab government condemned the Indian strikes, and declared a state of emergency across Punjab. Muskan Sangwan, senior intelligence analyst at TRAC, a terrorism research and analysis consortium, told Sky News: "Brigade 313 is al Qaeda in Pakistan. It's an umbrella organisation for members of several groups like Taliban, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Haqqat ul-Jihad-al-Islami, Jaish-e Muhammad, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Jundullah." Ms Sangwan explained that '313' refers to the number of companions said to have fought with the Prophet Mohammed in the Battle of Badr. TRAC have seen a recent uptick in TikTok videos and other social media posts that refer to '313'. Many of the accounts are linked to each other. Ms Sangwan said: "They [the TikTok users] mostly use '313' as a hashtag... trying to push that hashtag to as many people it can reach on social media." Sky News sought to verify the location by comparing before and after videos from the strike location, and using the video released by the Indian army conducting the strike. One video showing damage at the strike location was posted by a user with 313 in their TikTok username. Below is satellite imagery that shows the destruction of the site. In one TikTok, the video is captioned "bring your arms and ammunition and go to war". The text on the screen of the TikTok is '313' and he is carrying a gun. The group are comfortable with having an online presence. On the Google tag for Markaz Taiba Mosque in Muridke, men pose for a group photo. Almost all the people in the photo have used '313' on TikTok. Ms Sangwan explained: "With these people from Muridke, pushing this propaganda on social media would generate a lot of significance in terms of recruitment and in terms of gaining support from local people and from other people." Sky News' Asia correspondent Cordelia Lynch has reported on the ground in Muridke. 3:29 India says it struck Markaz Taiba, a site in Muridke about 15 miles (25km) from the border, which has long been claimed to be a terrorist training site associated with LeT. MEMRI, a US-based research group that monitors terrorist threats, told Sky News: "It has been known for decades that Lashkar-e-Taiba has its headquarters in Muridke." Sky News contacted the Pakistan Ministry of Defence for comment. Khawaja Asif, Pakistan's defence minister, told Sky News: "This appears to be a random video with background music added later - consistent with how TikTok trends often function. If this is to be considered credible evidence, we could produce millions of similar clips ourselves." Mr Asif also said that any suggestion that the mosque was used as a base by terrorists was a "completely false, social media made up hoax". On 7 May, after the strikes in Pakistan, the Indian subcontinent branch of al Qaeda issued a statement condemning India's actions and encouraging its supporters to wage jihad against India.
