PRIME Health plants 100 trees in Ghadeer Al Tair as part of 'My Name, My Tree, My PRIME' 2025 sustainability initiative
In alignment with the UAE's sustainability goals and national strategies for climate resilience, PRIME Health continued its signature environmental initiative, 'My Name, My Tree, My PRIME,' by planting 100 trees near the peaceful Ghadeer Al Tair Lake. The initiative brought together PRIME's long-serving staff, loyal patients, and their families — each tree planted in their names as a tribute to their trust, commitment, and contribution to PRIME's journey.
This initiative forms a key pillar of PRIME Health's broader sustainability and community well-being strategy, supporting UAE government efforts to foster a greener, healthier future.
Dr Jamil Ahmed, founder and managing director of PRIME Health, shared:
"This is more than a symbolic gesture. Every tree planted represents a promise—to our environment, to our people, and to future generations. We believe in giving back to the community that has trusted us for over 25 years."
The event celebrated employees who have completed 10 years with PRIME, alongside loyal patients who have been an integral part of the organisation's journey. Both groups were invited to plant trees in their names, creating a lasting and symbolic legacy of partnership and purpose.
Dr Tasneem Jamil, deputy managing director, added:
"We are proud to integrate sustainability into the very fabric of our organisation. Involving our staff and patients reflects how healthcare, gratitude, and green values can come together in a single meaningful moment."
This year's activity builds on the success of the 2024 edition, where PRIME planted 600 neem and ghaf trees near Nad Al Sheba Lake 2, in collaboration with Dubai Municipality, the Rashid Center for People of Determination, and under the patronage of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment.
"My Name, My Tree, My PRIME" continues to grow as a long-term initiative— bridging environmental consciousness, preventive care, and community engagement at the heart of healthcare.
